African President, THABO MBEKI,
established a panel of inquiry into AZT medication for AIDS,
ahead of the July 2000, 13th AIDS Conference in Durban.
He cited Internet sources asserting AZT actually causes AIDS
by destroying the immune system. These AIDS "dissidents" also
doubt that
HIV leads to AIDS, and believe the pharmaceutical science establishment
re-classified existing diseases to create AIDS hysteria for gain.
